Asus Eee Pad with Wi-Fi, 10 hours battery, price $300, in October

Asus is planning to bring out several tablet computers this year. It expects that the prototypes will the competitor of Apple’s iPad. The first gadget named Eee Pad will be available in the market in October costing $300. It has 8-inch LCD touchscreen, 2GB storage, camera, micro SD slot and Wi-Fi for web browsing. It has 10 hours battery back up so that the students can use it without any interruption. Moreover, it will run with Linux based operating system.
