Samsung NX10 may capture 30 percent share of compact camera market Malaysia

During the launch time Sony’s latest CyberShot in India market, the officials has announced that they eager to 45 percent of compact camera market. At the same time, with the launch of Samsung NX10 digital imaging product, Samsung has announced that their aim is to hold the 30 percent share of the compact digital camera market of Malaysia by the end of the year 2010.

"We are confident that the target can be achieved by unveiling a series of new products this year," said the company's vice president of sales Chan Lock at the Samsung NX10 launch here today.

If Samsung can fill up their target then its share in global market will be increased more than 3 percent. Samsung NX10 has an ability to provide high quality images and easy portability of a compact camera.

"The acquisition enhances the digital camera unit's competitiveness by maximising operational, brand and technological synergies with Samsung Electronics," he said.
